libjasypt-java software package provides java library for simple high-level encryption, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjasypt-java
libjasypt-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjasypt-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjasypt-java *
You will get with libjasypt-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
